### Recruit your team
The first step you must take is to recruit your soldiers. To do this, go to the "**Recruitment**" section.
* The basic campaign generates a soldier at no cost.
* Optionally, you can use $GQ to speed up the process.
* You can upgrade the recruitment area to obtain more soldiers in a single campaign by paying a cost in $GQ.
### Start a campaign
From the **Recruitment Area**, click on **"Start Campaign"** to begin.
